Vehicle Access
The Jungle Bus is a Double Decker Bus. It is just over 14 feet high, 33 feet long and 8 feet in width. It weighs just over 12 tonne. This needs to be taken into account when booking, considering access, parking and height restrictions. An average drive has not been constructed to hold that amount of weight, so we cannot be held responsible if any damage occurs due to the weight.
1. The Jungle Bus needs firm level ground to park on with safe access for children to enter and exit the vehicle (we cannot park on Grass or soil).
2. Allow 5 car spaces for us to park on the street. Consider your neighbours and will they be affected by our arrival. It is good practice to inform them of the date and time of your event.
3. We need to be informed of any Low Bridges, weight limits and narrow roads to your property. Also consider low branches, overhanging trees and overhead cables.
4. Parking Permits/Fines. The Jungle bus is not responsible for sorting a parking permit if that is a requirement in your area. Please contact your local authority in good time to sort please. Any fines incurred will be the sole responsibility of you (the hirer) to pay.
Any of the above not mentioned by yourself (the Hirer), may result in The Jungle Bus not being able to access your property and not being able to provide you a party and it is our aim to give Joy and fun to children, not disappoint.
If we are unable to gain access to your location and we have not been informed of any of the above then a refund will not be given.
In some cases we may be able to offer you an alternative date time and location if the circumstances are fully out of anyones control that day.
The Jungle Bus cannot and will not park in an unsafe location or where it may cause an obstruction.
If you are unsure of your location please contact us for advice.
Power Requirements
The Jungle Bus is mainly self sufficient for power but due to circumstances out of our control we may need at times access to a 240V power source. This is a normal 3 point pin plug in a house. We will supply the extension. Please inform us at the time of booking if you will not have any access to power at your chosen location. If we are not informed and there is no power available then a refund will not be given if there is a reduction in features
Break Downs
The Jungle Bus is regularly serviced and maintained to a high standard but like any other vehicle it can break down without warning. We will do our utmost to repair and get to you as soon as possible as the last thing we want is to disappoint any children. If we cannot do this then a full refund will be given or a mutually suitable new date and time.
Weather and Highway Restrictions
The Jungle Bus can operate in most weather conditions but in cases of extreme weather where it is not safe to travel it may not be possible to get to you. In this instance we will inform you as soon as possible. An alternative mutually agreeable date will be offered to you or a full refund will be given.
Any traffic problems that are beyond our reasonable control The Jungle Bus will not be held responsible for and we will keep you updated where it is practical, if there is a delay. We will make up for lost time and leave later so that you still have the allocated time for your event.
